Massive Drug Bust in Banteay Meanchey/Siem Reap

 Banteay Meanchey: On September 19, 2018, after several days of research, an operation seized more than 3 kilograms of narcotics and firearms, according to the National Police headquarters.

The operation began with the arrest of a female In Sisophon City and which led to a raid in Siem Reap, which uncovered 2kg of drugs.

Five drug addicts and gangsters have been detained after a one-month investigation Coming by force, law enforcement has taken action According to the suspects, three were arrested in Banteay Meanchey province.

The suspects sold drugs in 3 provinces. Banteay Meanchey, Siem Reap and Battambang. The raids seized  799.94g methamphetamine pills (yama), 1995,01g of crystal methamphetamine (ice) , 8.51g of (unknown drug),  2.96g (other unknown), scales, four guns and two vehicles.

The suspects and exhibits were sent to court on September 19, 2018 for further action.
