Poachers Ditch Guns And Run
Mondulkiri province: According to preliminary reports, four homemade guns were seized by rangers on the evening of September 16, 2018 at the village of Orpheltep Pou Lich, Khum Kdem, Oreang District, Mondul Kiri Province.
According to Vuth Sarum, director of the NAMLAR Wildlife Sanctuary, his officials were on the trail of eight suspected poachers. The suspects became nervous and threw all the guns away and escaped into the forest.
The head of the sanctuary said that the team had taken the exhibits to the headquarters and are preparing to take legal action.
