Phnom Penh: A 51-year-old Japanese language teacher, Hironori Nakorno, was discovered dead on September 11, in his house on Street 19, Bayab Village, Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmey.
According to the report, two Japanese friends had unsuccessfully tried calling him, so went to the property and let themselves in.
After hearing no response, they went into the bedroom and found him lying on his bed. An examination at the hospital gave the cause of death as coronary heart disease.
The body has been taken to the Khmer-Soviet hospital, waiting for the Japanese Embassy to give instructions.
