Museum Burglarized in PP

Phnom Penh:  On September 6, 2018, Hor Namhong Museum was burgled by a group of thieves, who made away with valuable souvenirs.

The break-in was discovered at around 7am on the morning of September 6, 2018 at the Hor Nam Hong Museum, Sangkat Toul Sangke 1, Russey Keo district.

The museum is named after HE. Hor Namhong, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, who donated many of his personal items to the collection.

According to information, thieves used bamboo poles to jemmy open a window and gain access through a door. In total 12 items belonging to  Hor Namhong, including gifts from national and international guests are believed to have been taken. The monetary value is unknown, but the cost to history is priceless.
