16 Year Old Dies in Rice Mill Accident
Kampong Thom: On Sept. 7, 2018, at LBN Cambodia, a company which mills rice and corn, rice was accidently dumped over a worker.
The victim was a 16-year-old boy named Sopheak, from Kompong Thom province.
The witness, Ngeth Nguon, a 45-year-old male worker, confirmed that the victim had been covered with rice to a depth of 2.50 meters.
Many fellow workers came to dig the victim out. He was found about 20 minutes later. The unconscious victim was taken to the district hospital for treatment, where he later died.
